Chinese 8-Ball Experience:
Unlike traditional American 8-ball, Chinese 8-Ball uses snooker rubber cushions with standard 2-1/4" pool balls, creating a unique hybrid gameplay experience. The distinctive rack arrangement places the 8-ball in the center with the 1-ball at the front, while solids and stripes occupy each corner.
Official Chinese 8-Ball Rules:
- Break shot must pocket a ball or send two object balls to cushions
- After breaking, players cannot directly strike the cue ball with the cue stick
- All shots require calling the pocket
- Either the object ball or cue ball must hit a cushion after contact
- First player to pocket all their designated balls plus the 8-ball wins
- Tournament victory requires winning 13 frames or the most frames within 140 minutes
